Inside the Diefenbunker

I went to the Diefenbunker for the first time.
Heard alot of good things about this place.

Since "Doors Open" happens every year and its always been on the list every year.

It was a nice interesting historic place.
The guide was very nice, fun and informative.
It wasn't those boring tour where the guide talks in a monotone robotic voice.
At least he was into giving us the facts about the place.

It did feel like a ghost town but inside a big underground building.
It was nice to see the CBC studio, cafeteria, Prime Minister and where people were going to sleep in.


It was stepping back into time if something serious as the war would happen this is where all the important would stay if an bomb attacked Canada.
I recommend people to check out this place if they can.

Anti-Valentine's Day 2009

I'm being cynical and probably going to get in trouble here (With the Facebook note).
It comes again every year.
Its the day that I just cringe.
I want to call it "Anti-Valentine's Day!"
Where couples show their affection of love/romance by giving heart shaped box of chocolates or rose or even sex.
I will go "bleech!!!"
Its just another marketing plot for companies to sell lots of stuff.
Damn commercialization of a pointless holiday!

I miss the days where you were a kid and just gave out cards to one another.
I don't see those anymore.

I'm going ANTI-Valentine's Day again.
Its nothing romantic on Feb 14th, its just like any other day just that one day people are going to have sex.
Probably with the sex will be the break-up.
Break-ups are horrible.

Here's to being single!

Finally tried Moksha Yoga

Today I finally tried out Moksha hot yoga.
Its on 300 Preston Road in Ottawa.
They have a special this week, pay $20 and get the whole 7 days unlimited yoga.
The place is really nice.
The staff is very nice too.
The teacher I had was Jess Robertson and she was nice and helpful.
Nice at the end she sang a interesting song.

I feel great doing it.
Very intense mostly with the heat.
There were was bit of almost passing out.

Yoga is fun.

My weekend

My weekend has been alright.
Like the last post about Chinese New Year.

Thursday I went to Ottawa U to see Basia Bulat.

Its this time of the year.
I keep forgetting that its Chinese New Year.

Its the Year Of The Ox.
I am the Year of The Monkey for those wondering.
My mom gave me lucky money (Not sure how much she gave me)
Tonight I am going to a restaurant with family friends.
Sure will be a fun time.
